Chad Tucker-Brad Gerlach Golf Outing

On Saturday, May 12, 2012, 128 golfers met at Clover Meadows Golf Course to play a best-ball scramble to benefit the Cloverdale Community Dollars for Scholars.  This golf outing is a memorial tribute to CHS Grads Chad Tucker and Brad Gerlach.  After playing the 18 holes, everyone enjoyed a fried chicken dinner catered by the Cloverdale Kentucky Fried Chicken.  Door prizes were given to each golfer.  PGA Pro Golfer, and CHS alum, Chad Collins donated several golf clubs, 3 of which were auctioned off with all proceeds being donated to the scholarship fund.  A total of $6,500 was raised by this event.

Thanks to Roger Shrum and Mark McCammon for organizing the event, Bob Gerlach for the use of Clover Meadows, and Al Tucker for his welcoming speech to begin the day.  Special thanks to our hole sponsors without whom we could not host such an event: Bruce Cook; A.A.
